Still trying to undestand how Take Care is better than HOB, TC is pure struggle in comparison; poverty status

:what:

Yes, your grandparents and cousins and coworkers know who he is, but could you have a conversation with them about any of his songs? When was the last time they heard “Power” or “All of the Lights” in a public setting without their permission? West’s decade-long imperial phase is every bit as impressive as those of Prince, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder... except on the charts and on radio playlists.

^^^ They said this about Kanye. How is Kanye's 10 year run every bit as impressive as Prince, MJ, and Stevie if his music doesn't have the reach? Charts and radio playlists aside, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder all have iconic songs that weren't smash hits. Some weren't even official singles.

Family
House of ballons is way too low.

If frank ocean hadnt come out i bet anything his album would have sold half and not received anywhere near the critical acclaim.

I swear if I could erase on site off the internet it would be Pitchfork

They are the epitome of cac hipsters in Williamsburg searching for props from other cac hipsters all the way to Portland. Yeezus at 8? MBDTF at #1? get off Kanyes DIKK already

They also put Chief Keef finally rich as #82 :mjlol:
