Picked up my first 4k tv

Went to best buy to check out the little sales they were having. A rep tried to take me over to the magnolia section, I was like anyone who doesnt know thats their "fancy" section.

I was only trying to spend around 500. Just wanted something decent that im going to use for gaming mostly (pc) console in future.

Funny how I paid more for my 27' QHD monitor than this tv

Ended up leaving with a 49' Samsung 7 series


If I had the extra cash I would of got this nice Vizio m series.

If I dont like this tv its going back

4k players are expensive, forgot to grab one

to be honest, idk about about best of the best when it comes to 4k. Those top of the line 4k tvs that are sony and LG look fukking amazing. All that oled, xled shyt

Their 2017 tvs were terrible compared to the 2016s. And Sony makes better high end TVs. Samsungs are for people who walk in the store and think QLED is better than OLED because Q come after O in the alphabet.

Samsung are the marketing Kings. That QLED shyt they pumping out now not even the real, legit QLED tech that will be hitting in a few years. They wanted to confuse people with the OLED/QLED trash in the meantime.

That tv is too small to make a meaningful difference at 4K unless you're sit very close. It's like back when they put out 1080p 32'' tvs. Ideally at 4K you want 65'' but at the very least 55'' and that's pushing it.
