Most of y’all don’t know of the black farmers controversy. How warnock introduced a bill for direct payments and warren/Bernie didn’t back it publicly
Then after viewing the poll numbers about it in the black population, turned around and piggybacked on the black farmers act.
The bill is great but there’s no direct payments
Warnock eventually joined them, but we remember.
Warnocks bill would of established a precedence for reparations too
