Peyton Manning not involved as Broncos prep for Bears - NFL.com

Not helping Osweiler at all, not been to practice all week. Not to a meeting all week, and hasn't even had one conversation with Brock.

He reminds me of that old piece of trash Brett Favre when he said in an interview it's not in his job description to help Aaron Rodgers.

Hope this piece of trash Mannning never steps on the field again, stat padding, playoff choking, regular season GOAT post-season pansy.

Made me a huge Oswelier fan +

Body of the article

Peyton Manning is out of the lineup and off the grid for the Denver Broncos.

NFL Media's James Palmer reported on NFL Network's TNF Gameday that Manning -- who has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup against the Bears -- hasn't attended any practices or meetings and hasn't had a single conversation about Sunday's game plan with Brock Osweiler, the fourth-year quarterback set to make his first career start.

Palmer has spoken to over two dozen Broncos players. Each one has said they have heard of no timetable for a potential Manning return. Teammates don't even know the specifics of Manning's injury issues, though several assumed the foot is the primary concern.

According to Palmer, it is the preference of Broncos coach Gary Kubiak that Manning puts his full focus on treatment and getting healthy. Denver officials haven't decided if Manning will make the trip to Chicago this weekend.

On the Monday following Week 11, Kubiak and Manning will sit down and determine whether he is healthy enough to play the following Sunday against Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots.

It's true. It's not his job to get Osweiler up to speed(ostensibly to take his job). He probably knows it's over for him anyway. If Osweiler is at least halfway competent the Broncos will never go back to Manning.

Yeah it's not his job to commit himself to making his team better.

They need to put Old Yeller behind the woodshed, let Brady put one in the dome and send him to the glue factory

Ain't about helping somebody "take your job" or "not his job to help the QB" but here's a dude who's about to make his first NFL start and you are a damn near 20 year vet and one of the best QB's ever.....you reach out to your fellow teammate and help him out or at least give em some sort of support. Give him some sort of advice. This is bullshyt on Peyton part.

And exactly like Brett it's not his job. The coach needs to coach him. The mfer should be lucky if The long faced great Peyton looks at him.

Selfish ass shyt, it's a team game, if you can't play do something to help your team win.

Grade A loser shyt, insecure, knowing he can't cut the mustard.

Hope Brock takes em to the Super Bowl and takes a shyt on Peyton after they win it

Exactly, because there was a time when Peyton was a rookie, and i`m sure someone helped him out with something.

You're supposed to be some genius QB, and you can't give this kid some support. Honestly, I really hope Brock is the next big thing and that egghead never plays another down, his final game is a 5 completion, 4 interception record breaking benchjob.

Stat king got his numbers, and lost his job

I wonder how the media would feel if this was Cam Newton. They would probably accuse him of being too busy dancing on his injured foot to help out.
:mjpls:

Well the media is on him right now about this, i read this article from a journalist, who is part of the media.

But you're right to a degree, he ain't gonna get this as hard as a guy like Cam, Vick, Wilson or Kaepernick would. That is true. He is the medias golden God.
