I'm not a fan of Buttigieg but they are making him a fall guy. Airlines received covid money and they still reduced their workforce. Instead of addressing that issue they want to blame Buttigieg. If he did give them significant fines, airlines would use that as an excuse to increase the price of flights and blame him. Root cause, the government needs stricter provisions when they be giving free money.
