Daniel Caesar first 2 albums i got some of the best and worst memories of my life with those 2 albums

Once the Rap nikkas video dropped, I knew he had something. Then Last Time That I Checked with YG

Then the album dropped


Deceased or not, Victory Lap was incredible. I wasn't the biggest Nip fan. I knew of him when he started buzzing. Always saluted him because of what he was doing with his mixtapes

The way he gave fans real reasons to invest in his music. The 100 dollar thing with Crenshaw and that one other mixtape was genius. Nip was really ahead of his time

I had only heard his features up until the end of 2014

Mailbox Money is what really made me listen to his work and appreciate it. Mailbox Money and Victory Lap are my favorites from him

when it dropped i thought it was just decent then a couple months after it dropped i temember i was driving and i had the windows down and played that album and it hit crazy

honestly mailbox money didnt really connect for me up until like a couple months ago. It always had a few songs that were good but same with Victory Lap i was going home and had the windows down and the 2nd verse of Status Symbol came on and it just clicked “woah now, realest out of so cal” the way he was flowing on that
