I wouldn't call fish or bird owners trashy. I'd call them cruel pieces of shyt. These pets are trophies to these people. They want to show them off like they got a little fukking zoo in their home. Why would you want to own a parrot just to keep it caged, eating seeds? If you truly love it, free that bytch

Cages are safe spaces to sleep, chill, and recuperate within. They're also necessary when introducing new birds to one another. Other than that, the only bird owners who always keep them caged are afraid of their birds or have never known how to train them or set up their home to be bird friendly. That can all be rectified.
