Have a family reunion this weekend, downtown hotel rates shakes head.

I see hotels in Livonia, warren, Southfield, dearbourn that are more in my price range.

Are these areas far from downtown Detroit? Are these areas safe?

they're all about 25-30 minutes away

you might feel safe in livonia cause its one of the whitest cities in america

warren used to be a sundown town, but it reminds me of eminem, kinda trashy

dearborn is where ford headquarters is, and all the arabs live there

southfield is pretty diverse

pay the bread and stay downtown....trust me. Livonia is filled with old white retirees, Dearborn is decent but heavy arab population kinda far from stuff if you are trying to be in the city...i kick it there alot thought for the hookah spots. Warren.....just no

I say bite the bullet or stay in Dearborn. Message me if you want some tips on chill spots. Oh and make sure you go ham on Belle Isle...embrace the rachetness

Livonia is too far bro. Either Southfield or Dearborn. Though don't speed in Dearborn. Hook is terrible out there. But if I was you, I would choose Dearborn.

it isnt really its just expensive by comparison. The Westin got remodeled so thats up there. He could always stay at one of the casinos though.
