never had a work phone can i even look at anything online. im also nervous about giving my number to my friends cuz they say some shyt from time to time.

is potentially getting fired from ur job worth saving $75 a month?

I got a work blackberry thats pretty much ONLY for email purposes. I rarely use it for calls unless its for a meeting and im not in the office. hell, I dont even have the ringer or vibrate on. I just look to see if its flashing to determine if I have messages. I dont even know the # by heart.

from what I understand, I got 450 minutes. same as my iphone. I would only use it for chatting if there were an emergency where my personal phone either died, or got stolen.

in response to ur question, if u dont have any fukks given about ur gig, then go HAM on ur work phone then. check porn, give the # out, and text hoes from it.

Have a work provided BB. Contemplated ditching my personal device but I don't think that's a good decision from a privacy standpoint.

So I have my Nexus for personal and the work BB, just for that.. work. Well, and to use as a hotspot since it's a 6GB data plan that barely gets used with strictly email

Work phone doesnt belong to you. They can ask to see it or take at will. No personal calls allowed. they have access to the bill, all numbers dailed, texted, etc.

Its not worth it. See if your job has a discount with a carrier. I work for NYC and i got 20% off AT&T.

Got a work BB...it's annoying now

When I first got it yeah I was stunting something vicious, but now I feel like a geek with it. Especially since it HAS to stay on me while at work so I got this phone on my hip and my iphone in the pocket...wack!!!


But I will say, it has saved me when I didn't pay my personal phone bill...I used it exclusively for 5 months with no problems, but I told nikkas don't text me cuz my nikkas be texting bout how bomb the bud is from our plug...or telling me which plug to go see you know, reckless job-endangering stuff

Gift and a curse the work phone is...I got a work Macbook and I have YET to even THINK about looking at porn on it...but my ipad is where I look at porn...don't do anything on a "work" anything that you wouldn't want ya boss to see is my advice

I'm not saying you should/shouldn't be paranoid. Its just a matter of why take that chance. The best way to not have it bite you if it comes to it ... it to not do it.

Keep the two phones dude.

A guy I know went to one phone(the work one) ended up getting fired because people he knows sent him some memes and text that his company deemed offensive. Another guy I know got in trouble for using his phone too much on the weekend since he wasn't working.

Do not, I repeat, do not give up your privacy to your job just save some money.
