Just wanted to do a thread on this, because honestly I read too much shyt about "snoop aint writing anything", "he aint got the skills" blablabla. Shyt is :snoop:
Snoop may be one of the only people actually crediting everyone in his booklets and each time a dope song of his gets released there are people tryna say he didnt write it & shyt. Yeah he had some verses written for him, but to say everything is is just :snoop::snoop:
Especially when people talking about songs of his where he credits other people and automatically asume he didnt do shyt, like on "Imagine" for example.
Shyt is beyond dumb

Snoop wrote a lot of shyt classic shyt...

A lot of nikkas don't understand music credit or even why we would say someone is a ghostwriter even if they are credited.

In Hip Hop is assumed the rapper writes all of his or her shyt.

A writer credit is normally given to the producer and any artist that is sampled. That's why Drake could get away Quentin Miller....nobody knows wtf that nikka did. That's why Nicki Minaj could get away with Safaree.

A lot of West Coast Hip Hop uses samples so a lot of people are credited as writers.

One of snoops hardest songs. Still remember the interview where he talked about the recording of the song and the motivation behind it

Yup I remember that too. His son told him his favorite rapper was Cassidy cuz he was lyrical or whatever so he wrote hat song to show his son he can do tha shyt too
