People actually put corn in corn beard?

My department had a half day yesterday so people brung in Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch potluck. I didnt expect much because there are alot of 6 figure wypipo around here but the only ppl who bring in foods are the island folks or latinos. Everything was on okay, most dessert but that "bread"it had chunks of corn in it.

No one claimed it....is this a thing? I thought only whites did this

Bought a corn bread muffin from Au Bon Pain a couple months ago. Threw it out after bites. Never in my life have I bit into a firm muffin and actual full cooked corn kernels exposed themselves to me until then.
