First off, peep the low quality of the camera footage. Like come on son, in this day and age you have to go out of your way to get a camera with quality this shytty. I get it tho....your from some small town in the middle of nowhere (literally) and getting a camera with quality this shytty is supposed to convince me it's so small corporate america has yet to discover it and put a walmart in your area huh? Ok, cool, moving on.

"Woody" say's, with the help of 3 Sophomore students from his class, he's going to replicate the "Supersize Me" documentary , only he wants to do it exactly opposite. Why? First of all, if you're already overweight why would you even be thinking about attempting an experiment that could possibly kill you especially after watching the movie "Supersize Me" and knowing the possible dangers associated with an experiment like this. He states that the guy in supersize me was healthy and physically fit (which was verified in "Supersize Me" by named physicians) prior to beginning his experiment then goes on to provide his UNSUBSTANTIATED obesity and blood work statistics. What type of experiment control is this? And "Woody" should know better too, I mean he claims to teach the very subject that deals with the science of experimentation. After providing these "statistics" he immediately moves into his planned course of action for the "experiment".

"Woody" (what's your last name Woody?) states plainly that he made arrangements with "Joe" ( last name?) at the local Mcdonalds. What arrangements and who the fukk is "Joe"? That's important to know when you're conducting an experiment like this (Was the food prepared differently then the food prepared for regular customers? Was "Joe" the manager of the store or was he just the guy who made the fries? ETC.).

Next he flashes to a clip of his supposed first day work out (where he is walking as leisurely as i believe a person could) where he states how tough the gingerly stroll was while making no mention of the time he alotted or the specific criteria he set for his workout portion of the "experiment". Just some corny ass phrase an approximation of how far he walked and his plans to warm up more the next day.

THEN HE GOES TO THE RESULTS.

In a 90 day experiment this is all the evidence we are provided to believe your results?????

Are you kidding me

The results, more unsubstantiated results.

The only proof this guy provides anywhere in this video are 2 pictures that he purports to be him before and after this experiment.

Also listen to the the hypnotic tone and music being played when he's reading the results.

And even after all of this you are still in doubt, see if you can google the High School he named. He states it's in some difficult to pronunciate part of Colorado but fails to provide the city its in.

I came across this video after i saw a NEWS REPORT on the story on yahoo news

http://news.yahoo.com/video/man-loses-weight-eating-mcdonalds-184745397.html

this is where it gets crazier. In the original video (which was posted yesterday) purporting to be the experiment the guy goes by the name of "Woody" (read the description) in this clip he's "Joe *difficult to pronounce therefore difficult to spell and fact check last name*"

In this clip it describes the "experiment" and shows a clip of the 3 mystery students from the first video. The "news agency" again makes no mention of the exact location or name of the manager at this Mcdonalds they keep referencing. Peep the clip they got from on of the supposed students: [clip]"...I thought it was crazy..."[/clip] lol

What news agency reported this story?

In this clip his name is "JOHN *difficult to pronounce therefore difficult to spell and search last name*" and he's from IOWA

In this clip they take the video shown in the yahoo clip and attach a NBC banner on the bottom of it (a banner that shows the time and weather but not the date). The clip then goes on to use supposed segment clips from other unidentifiable news agencies to explain the supposed student assignment aspect of the experiment (remember the 3 kids?)

In this clip tho, I finally found an identifiable name of a news agency to look into (KCCI news 8)

http://www.kcci.com/news/entertainm...est/-/9356786/23753384/-/3lighnz/-/index.html

What is the name of the area they say he's from? What is the name of the school district? In the other videos the name she attributed to the name of the school district was the name of the actual name of the school itself.

This video provides the spelling of the difficult to describe last name, and if you google it you can see how far this fake story has traveled.

It's funny, this forum is for higher learning but when presented with a real truth no one is showing any discernment in recognizing it.

I think the vast majority of people are aware of the dangers that come with McDonalds and don't need another refresher. Just because someone came up with a gimmick diet losing weight at McD's won't change peoples perception of the filth they call food.

I read it. Seems like you don't really believe he did his experiment. I think you need to look at it in a different way. He set limits to the amount of calories he intakes. Super Size me didn't from what I remember. He could eat anything anything as long as its McD's. This Woody guy also took advantage of changes in the menu. In this video he states he orders egg white mcmuffins and oatmeal for breakfast. I don't think the menu was this diverse or healthy when Super Size me came around. I'm not advocating that McD's is safe or good for you, its not, but you can make a decently balanced meal if you look hard enough. Limiting his calorie intake and nitpicking the items he ate, along with his new 45 min exercise regiment, leads him to lose weight and lower internal measures. This "experiment" is biased as it doesn't measure weight loss without the exercise. My opinion of McD's remains unchanged. Its filth but I'll eat it once in a long while.

You read the entire post?

Yes. This isn't some vast conspiracy to support McDonalds. They are too deep in the game to effectively change peoples minds on the products they sell. Wether this guy did this experiment or not doesn't really change what my post says. You CAN find a healthy and balanced diet from McDonalds, today. They have introduced lots of healthy and low-cal options for people. There is still a ton of unhealthy garbage that they produce though. I don't go to McDonalds to eat healthy. If people do, they lost already. Most of the important changes in this guys blood work most likely resulted from him starting to exercise again. The processed foods and additives they add are detrimental in the long term and not a 90 day experiment so you can't really tell if his McD's diet is for real or if it will hurt him in the long term.
