A FEMALE teacher has been arrested for allegedly having affairs with two of her students — after searching Google to see if she could.

English teacher Brittney Whetzel, 28, had told friends she couldn't wait for one of the boys to graduate so she could do whatever she wanted with him, a report has said.
In a new 147-page report, it's claimed Whetzel had told her colleagues she had a crush on one of the boys and joked about "hooking up with him".
The teacher at Battery Creek High School in the US state of South Carolina had plied three boys with beer, wine, and tequila after inviting them over to a "party" at her place on April 9 this year.
She had sex with two of the teens, bragging about it to another teacher at the school, who reported her to the principal.

Two days before she had googled variations of the question: "Can teachers get in trouble for sleeping with former students?" according to records police found on her mobile phone.
She was arrested the next week and charged with two felony counts of sexual battery and three misdemeanour counts of transfer of beer or wine for an underage person's consumption between April 9 and April 10.
A second woman who worked at the school, media specialist Akina Andrews, 23, was also arrested and charged with plying the teens with booze.
Andrews left to buy more booze, and during that time, Whetzel allegedly took one of the boys into her room and had sex with him.
The younger teacher then returned with another student.
When asked why she had brought over the boy, she told police she "wanted a witness" to what was happening at the house in Lady's Island, and wasn't sure if she "should tell or not".
At one point, Andrews claimed she walked in on Whetzel with the two students, who were lying in her bed naked.
One student claims he also saw Andrews kissing a student at the party while sitting on his lap, but both Andrews and the student deny anything happened.

Whetzel had denied anything wrong happened at her house, claiming she had invited the boys over to look after her cats.
But in text messages sent between the teacher and one of her students, police claim the messages quickly got inappropriate.
"The text stream seems to indicate a growing flirtation," the report said.
Although the students were over 18, in South Carolina it is illegal for teachers to have sexual contact with their students, even if they are above the age of consent.
