I don't understand why people do this, do they think they're being funny? Smh.
In America, yes it is racist. But it's really not that bad depending on how you look at it.
In most countries people would laugh it off. Ive been to carnivals and other celebrations in various countries where people of different ethnicities don masks and make-up of other ethnicities skin colors and its not big deal. But because of the history and constant animosity there is in the U.S. when it comes to racial issues people (nonwhites) will get upset over any little thing. Which then triggers stupid white people to, in turn see this and use these racist things to get a reaction.

Nikka, which Carnival have you been to where you see people in Black Face. I've been going to Carnival all my life and I've never seen that until I started College in the states.
