anyone do these activities or engage in them for fitness and health? i learned about parkour about 3 years ago but got into a different discipline to improve my health. now, i've sort of redeveloped an interest in it and i've been trying to read as much new info on it as i can. more specifically, i've been looking to see some basic levels and standards of agility you need to possess to engage in parkour in the most efficient and effective way. for those who don't know...

it's pretty straightforward idea; it's obstacle passing training, made for any environment. i like it because of the concepts behind the discipline and it's focus on the person's independent abilities to overcome obstacles. either way, i've been reading little by little each day, planning to find a gym that teaches just the basics about body control on that level, as well as maintaining my overall health until i can find some place/some one to help me advance further...
