ABILENE, Texas — Students at Clack Middle School were allegedly told by a staff member that they would begin tracking menstrual cycles for female students.

Parents have expressed that they are outraged that this comment was made to their kids.

"This is a violation of their first amendment rights," one parent said. "This needs to be exposed and stopped. Parents are mad as hell!"

Parents were told to email the vice principal with their complaints and concerns. (KTXS/Jesse Smith)

The comment was allegedly made to the students in a classroom setting and several parents have contacted the school. They were told to email the assistant principal with their concerns and complaints.

KTXS reached out to Abilene ISD about the situation and they gave the following statement.
Abilene ISD is aware of allegations regarding an inappropriate comment made by a staff member at Clack Middle School. The district is actively investigating these allegations, and the staff member has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. We take every allegation of employee misconduct seriously. Our teachers and staff are expected to follow the highest standards of professional and personal conduct to protect the best interests of our students and schools.

KTXS is following this story and will provide updates as more information is available.

At least the parents were notified. In my state, a middle schooler could start transitioning to another sex without the parents knowing...

Track menstrual cycle but can’t even track their students for success and pay their teachers properly. How about use that money to track that into giving all students free lunch? Lol can’t make this shyt up
