Anyone try this? I looked at my diet and i've actually been close to a Paleo Diet most of the time. But i decided to see if i can follow the diet all the way and observer how i feel physically as a result.

Basically, it's centered around whole foods, meat and nuts. No grains of any kind. No grain products. No rice, bread, pasta, corn or even potatoes etc. No dairy either(this is the hardest part actually). Obviously no sweets.

Basically trying to mimic our ancestor's diet before agriculture.

A typical meal i just had for lunch includes Talipia cooked in a fresh tomato, onion, and garlic sauce, steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower mix, steamed greens a whole peach and water.

Just trying to get some feedback.

I eat close to it but its too limiting. Most things in moderation are fine :manny:

I thought about it and I have cut back on most of the types of food you can't have, but I don't follow it strictly.

However, I did just buy some almond flour paleo bread (and ordered the coconut flour bread) and I can't wait to see how it tastes. I want a peanut butter sandwich.

My diet leans more towards primal. Paleo is a little bit more restrictive but the thing they have in common that I follow strictly is the elimination of grains and any of their derivatives. It has definitely made a positive difference for me.

I could be wrong but it seems like often times the method of these diets has merit but the reasoning (eating like our ancestors) is a little :patrice:

Lol, yea that definitely wasn't what persuaded me to modify my eating habits. My body just responds really, really well to it. Like, surprisingly well.

Full discosure, I threw this diet in the bushes after a week. So much of our food is based on grains. It's impossible to stick to this diet if you are busy living life. The new mantra is everything in moderation, except for beer of course.
