In a bizarre case, a nine-month-old Pakistani boy has been charged with planning a murder, threatening police and interfering in state affairs by a Lahore police team, Press Trust of India reported.
In a police raid to catch suspected gas thieves in the city of Lahore, Muhammad Musa Khan was one of more than 30 arrested and charged in the city of Lahore, The News website reports.

"Police say the suspects tried to murder security officers by pelting them with stones," BBC News reported. "But the Times of India newspaper quotes the infant's father as saying the group was protesting an electricity shortage."
After Musa was produced in court, Additional District and Sessions Judge Rafaqat Ali granted bail to the minor till April 12 and directed the police to "record his statement."
"The infant appeared in the courtroom sitting on his father's lap - who is also accused - and clasping a feeder," BBC News reported.
The minor has been asked to be produced in court again during the next hearing, Irfan Tarar, counsel of the accused, said.
"The bail of the minor will be confirmed once the police declare him innocent," he said.
But Sadiq, the lawyer, said the charges against the child should have been dropped.
"The court should have simply referred the minor's case to high court for dropping of the charges against the innocent child and acquit him from the case as the minimum criminal responsibility age is seven," Sadiq told AFP.
The murder charges against the baby shocked Punjab's Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. The province's inspector-general of police has been demanded to provide an explanation.
Inspector Kashif Muhammad, who attended the alleged crime scene, has since been suspended for bringing a case of attempted murder against a nine-month-old boy and forcing the crying infant to appear in court, Agence France-Presse reported.
"Everyone in the court was saying 'How can such a small child be implicated in any case'? What kind of police do we have?" Muhammad Yasin, Musa's grandfather, said
