they had to pay him after the playoff run they had. if haliburton was healthy then they push boston more then they did.

Exactly.Hali showed he won’t be aggressive offensively all the time. That’s a mindset that can’t be taught.

Unless Nembhard or Ben take a huge leap they’ll be a treadmill team. Seeing as their Canadian I doubt it.

I think they really missed Mathurin in their playoff run, to be honest. Wouldn’t have gotten them past Boston but at least he ain’t a shook hoe out on the court

They had to pay him, but presents an eventual problem as I don't believe that they've ever paid the luxury tax and are now going to be pushing towards it with Haliburton and Siakam on max contracts.
