When we first detailed the Ouya $99 Android-based game console yesterday, we had a feeling it would become a hot property over at Kickstarter. But still, there's no way we anticipated this: the project has just raised $2 million in its first day, having sped past its initial $950,000 goal within a record-breaking 12 hours. Now, in an email to backers, the project has asked for feedback on its "stretch goals" -- in other words, what it should do if it makes even more cash and is able to set its sights on loftier ambitions. Nintendo really ain't shyt anymore man. I'd much rather buy this than the wii u and that's real. Nintendo is holding back gaming at this point with its motion gimmick. Ouya looks like the future. We should be able to pick up and play our games wherever and whenever we choose, its possible with this and Android.

this is meant from causal gamers who make up the majority of game buyers , i dont expect this console to sell much , still moving almost 41 units (assuming everyone donated $99) in 1 days with 0 comericals, "AA" tittles, or publicity outside of online isnt a bad look, personally am not picking one up, i barely play games on my xbox anymore, but interesting to see what they do with this thing , once it gets better media streaming capabilities or even google tv maybe them i might pick one up
