Skins of all colours come together as brothers
Madvillainy, out of all the albums in DOOMs discography, get's the most credit and acclaim. I feel it's a little overrated though.
Doomsday on the other hand, has DOOM at his most energetic no doubt. He seems much more full of life, and even as an artist who is naturally reserved, there's a lot of fire in his delivery and his voice.
I prefer the sampling as well and the production more than any of his other albums too.
The only aspect of later albums I prefer is his rapping, which I feel becomes more advanced on the likes of Madvillainy or Vaudeville Villain etc. Still, the rapping is more than good enough on this album.
Plus there is NOT ONE wack track. I challenge anybody to find it.
Doomsday
The Finest
Go with the Flow
Dead Bent
I at anyone who doesn't fukk with this. Such a beautiful, well-rounded project and the best of 1999.
