One QB Maybe 16 games? Rams Season thread

Maybe for once we finish the season with one QB. Offense needs to catch up to our defense in the worst way.

That Grantland article was a good read.

I'm not really worried about the defense much ... if we play like we did the second half, we should be great on that side of the ball. The addition of Fairley is an underrated move by our FO. Only piece I'm worried about is at corner. Big Janoris Jenkins fan because of his big play ability but he gets burned more than a ginger on a beach.

And I'm a bit mad we couldn't get Maclin in FA. Britt, Quick and Givens is .

We really have a chance to be second the West and sneak into the Wildcard(wishful thinking).

Tre and a healthy Gurley is a solid 1-2 RB punch. Foles has some solid weapons in Cook, Britt, Givens, Bailey and Austin . I feel we have the best D-Line in football-Jenkins needs to make that next step and we have some Safety Depth....



But with our O- line and Coach 'Stache

I wanted Maclin or at least draft a Wideout and maybe hit the jackpot like many teams have recently-but I guess Fisher and Co. wanted some O-line depth.

For those that don't know, I live in the Philly area, so I've had a lot of Nick Foles related conversations for the last two years, and watched a lot of his games.

He's not as good as his first season, 27 TDs and 2 INTs. Straight up. But he's not as bad as his second, injury plagued season was either. Eagles fans would swear up and down that he was flaming trash even while picking up wins for the club, because they as a fanbase are in "win now" mode and have been since Mike Vick came in and lit things up. Foles ain't that guy (yet) but I expect a 25/12 season out of him if he stays healthy, which for us would be a goddamn miracle in and of itself.

Everybody else has Super Bowl aspirations for their team. It would be nice for the Rams to get back to that level, but damn I just want to compete this year I'd be happy as hell with 9-7 and not looking like shyt in our division.

Defense will be even better. Should be at the top of the NFL.

Have a few concerns about the line being so young (and with Saffold staying hurt ).

But hopefully we finally have a healthy and capable QB for the first time since 2004 Bulger.

And I can't wait until Gurley is 100% and beasting.
