We've been talking about this for 5 years now. Plastic recycling has been a fukking scam, and China finally refusing to take our landfill trash exposed that to the world.

Recycling may be a "way of life" in California, but outside of the Bay (which has to invest a ton in its recycling facilities), you'd be surprised at how many spots aren't able to recycle anymore. Even the shyt you put in recycling bins is often ending up in incinerators or landfills instead.
