I heard there were zero black scientists in all 12 seasons except a 1 min camero by NdT. But they still managed to find creating ways to do things like this and come off clean through their 'very socially inept' character.

Never watched a single episode of the show however. Apparently it's one of if not the biggest show all-time in China.
