monogamy is a real thing but only a small percent can do it. people that cant do it just get into relationships because they fear being alone. all these relationships you see are not really relationships at all theyre just people who fear being alone with somebody else who fears being alone. thats not a relationship thats codependency. thats one selfish person and another selfish person. then ten and twenty years down the line and they wonder what went wrong in their lives.
