Finally got to see this movie for the second time after a long long while. What an underrated movie
It's long as fukk and sometimes it annoyed the shyt out of me but it's a great movie.
i can see why ppl compare it to the godfather. Max, noodles and deborah are like some of the greatest characters i've ever seen in a movie.
My Other problem with the movie is that it's confusing as fukk
Max faking is death.... him becoming a senator (they never show how he planed his death, how he became a senator ) This movie needed to be even longer to make more sense

Why is this movie never on TV?

The Turners used to play it all of the time, start it at midnight and that ish wouldn't go off until like 5:30 am. That's the first time I saw it. AMC used to play a 2 hours condensed version. To this day, I never understood how they made a 4 hours movie into 2 hours lol It's not even the same movie.

Great movie. I remember my mom's uncle showing it to us one time. I enjoyed it. I should rewatch it if I have it somewhere.
