Oscar decided to go on his bike when he and his corner thought had a good lead which is helped Tito manage to steal the win.

He had a great beginning beating Felix to the punch, out-jabbing him.

Then he decided to just mostly keep away for some rounds making Felix appear to be the aggressor.

If it was the final round he'd be fine, or appeared more active during that time he decided to take it easy.

In the end I still view it as Felix winning :manny:

Round for round, I had Oscar winning it, and that's the way we vote boxing matches so that's the way I saw it.

But from a personal perspective, I've always seen it as one fighter could technically win on rounds but the other fight can sorta "win" the overall fight, and I think that's what Trinidad did (or moreso DLH lost it by running away). I've always hated when guys get leads in fights and then basically decide to run the clock out so I was happy when Trinidad lost, even if I understand why Oscar did it and I'd probably do it too if placed in the same spot.

Sidenote: They BOTH lost to Pernell Whitaker though. :birdman:

while i agree that Sweet Peat beat de la Fakkit i think Tito beat the shot version of Pernell fair and square

Typical ODH. Had a nice lil jab working against Floyd and for whatever reason thought it wasn't enough and start tryna fight on the inside where Floyd was quick to counter him.

i thought de la hoya won, but he got gifts vs pernell and ike quartey to me. it evened out i guess, that 12th rd oscar had vs quartey backing him up on the ropes was sick to me, dude punched himself out though trying to get him out of there.

yeah, but de la hoya got tito- i'm still perplexed at why he chose his late rounds strategy- tito was coming on though. bernard took the exact strategy for the 1st half of the fight and applied it vs tito- thats a student of the game right there.
