Freeway is wack now?
anyway, i don't think there is any artist that had the mainstream longevity that LL has had from 85 to like 2005.
He had the hood on smash with all those classic posse cuts which earned him respect in the streets and he also dropped songs for the ladies like "Loungin" and "doing it" etc
He may be irrelevant now but that was a hell of a run. I stopped respecting him as an emcee after the G.O.A.T album tho (His last decent LP imo)
