ON PAPER, Where Does AEW Rank Amongst The GOAT Tag Team Divisions?

low key, we've been in a golden era of tag team wrestling for a few years now.

and I feel like AEW is providing that signature stamp for the tag divisions of this era.

the division that they put together is ridiculous.

I don't even think they have the best division right now from a talent standpoint they just do the best job showcasing and displaying them so we know tag team wrestling actually means something in AEW. Whereas WWE(main roster) has Usos, New Day, Street Profits, AOP, War Raiders, The OC, The Revival just to name a few.. but most of these teams get casted aside so they don't look like they hold the same status in their company that a team on AEW does.

Pretty much this. WWE on paper has the best tag team division by a god damn mile, but if we don't see them or they're put to any significant use, it doesn't really matter.

If WWE actually gave a damn about tag team wrestling, it would easily be the best part of the show but Cokeboy doesn't wanna see tag teams outshine his pet projects that fans are tired of.

Right now I'd probably say WWE has them beat however in a year when the existing teams are more established (Private Party was literally JUST made days ago) we may have a different story.

Too early to say but so far I like it, their division I prefer than WWE so far tag wise because it seems to be taken more seriously and there’s more creativity. WWE have the better women’s division though.

The New Day versus The Usos feud in 2017 is better than The Young Bucks versus The Lucha Bros feud.

Don't get me wrong, Young Bucks versus Lucha Bros was dope but I'm not a fan of spotfests. New Day and Usos brought something different every match. Their HIAC match is arguably one of the best in the last decade, even tho that's not saying much.

This discussion that shouldn't even be happening. AEW tag team division isn't great at all. Anyone who claims the young bucks is the best tag team in the world is a fool.

Usos, Revival, Kyle o'reily and Bobby fish, Briscoes, G.O.D., War Raiders are all better tag teams

The Young Bucks are a good tag team but they aren't great, the moving from spot to spot and corniess hurts them. Private party look like they could be decent but again there's an air of corniness about them. SCU are a very good tag team and then every other tag team in AEW is trash, Dark Order, best friends, Evans and angelico are all trash.

To be honest, AEW doesn’t have the talent pool of the WWE ON ANY LEVEL OF THE CARD.

AEW just gives a fukk about properly showcasing everything it has and seemingly letting the wrestling part come first without the goofy/corny/idiotic bullshyt decision-making that has plagued the WWE product for years.

A product where mid-tier talent that is properly showcased will beat a product where elite talent is mishandled in terms of being more enjoyable.
