Random thread. Was talking about this earlier...anybody in here have a fam where some of their relatives make it to a very old age? Or do people in your fam tend to go out younger?
I have quite a few in my family, especially on my mother's side, but it tends to be women mostly.
My great-grandmother turned 90 late last year.
And if I remember correctly, her mother lived to like 93 or 94 (died when I was a kid). And my other great-grandmother is like 86 or 87, and extremely healthy for that age (we went out to eat on mother's day, and no, she doesn't need assistance walking). I think she said that her father lived to be 90. My grandma on my mother's side is 70 (but looks younger) and is a rather proficient computer user.
Not quite as much on my dad's side...I think both his parents made it to early 70s or so. Though one of my great grandmas on that side lived until like mid 80s.
