:whoa: Too much shyt in my life requires my smartphone apps. Authentication, shopping, media content, games, music, bluetoothvideo etc. I couldn't go back to a flip phone even if I wanted to.

Just have self control if technology overwhelms you.

Why not just practice self control?

Besides, if you're any kind of professional, I imagine smartphone can't be replaced.

Seriously though there are multiple studies showing that human brain hasn't caught up with technology. We’re in the age were its an addiction.

Bnking apps would be my biggest issue otherwise I could probably do it.
They have flip phones that let you access some apps now. So you could keep useful stuff like GPS and bank apps and get rid of social media and browsers apps

The Truth
Its great for really older people.

I would get one as a dumb phone but thats about it. I would need to be doing shady shyt for that and you don’t really need it with cellphones still

You described how much power your smartphone has over you.

These apps are too invasive. I'm all for a return to 2007 levels of tech for smartphones. Apps should be optional, but you should not require them to function. Certain cars REQUIRE a smart phone to be used. Certain government documents can only be accessed through an app. That's way too much.

People used to worry about a microchip being forced on them. When in reality they bought the microchip and gladly use it in the form of a smart phone. And if these tech companies have their way, they'll sell you smart glasses so they're also seeing everything you see while you're wearing them and have the speakers and camera secretly active when you're not.

When enough people own the AR glasses, they'll set things up so pop ads will appear in your vision no matter where you are. You could be driving and on the dashboard there's a popup for a restaurant. Then when you close it another pop up floats up on the corner of your vision. They'll track you constantly while throwing ads in front of your face. When the ads are finally aggressive enough they'll charge you to pay monthly for an ad free experience.

fukk all of that.
