They're from Flint. The Minneapolis sound was pretty much the sound of the upper Midwest. Detroit was the first area outside of Minneapolis to embrace Prince because DJ Mojo was always putting Detroit unto diverse sounds. That's why Prince said Detroit was like a second home to him, and he was always indebted to the D for that.I like ready for the world......I never associated them with the Minneapolis sound.....
