Old heads can talk about nothing for 30 minutes

Something i notice lack in the new generations, old folk can sit and talk about hoses for 30 minutes and be engaged in the entire conservation

i notice it myself I can go out and talk to a dude in their 60s and 70s and have a whole convo but a youngin in their early 20s or mid teens be brushin you off or dont got much to say or be actin weird in general

has technology and social media fr killed communication abilities? You ever seen 2 teenagers who dont know each other strike up a conversation before?

Old heads have practice. They didn’t have internet, smart phones, etc., so they sat around and told stories - it’s the oldest skill on earth. They learned to exaggerate, imitate, and flat out lie to make a story worth hearing since there was some truth and maybe something to learn from it.
Young cats don’t have to verbally, but go on social media and places like here and they know how to use memes, smilies, and pics to convey the same thing.
