Illinois is probably is medicore in the big east

I'd rather us join the SEC and at least have a chance of playing up to competition some years and winning others and simply competing every week. What Urban is about to do to the big 10 is sights unseen since McQueery walked into that shower.

It's about to get ugly... I'll enjoy watching Gizzle, Don, and the other piss and flu fans whine about how we cheated..while we constantly win ship after ship (8 straight years before last yr)

TBH, NCAA should have the Big 10 and the ACC battle for AQ status. Both mid level conferences. The playoffs should be SEC Champ, Big 12 Champ, Pac 10 champ, and (ACC/Big Ten Champ) vs SEC 2nd place.

LSU beat an OSU team that shouldn've have even been there but a few penalties costs us there. I thought that was a decent game for two OVERRATED teams (LSU and OSU weren't that great)

SEC gets passes in most of their bowl games. They never play USC for nothing or a Big 10 team at its best. Most of the tie ins have the 2nd or 3rd best SEC playing the 4th or 5th best big ten team or some overrated acc school.

I'm not going to diss the SEC like that due to my belief they are better top to bottom than any other conf. The top though isn't that far ahead than the tops at other conferences

USC and Ohio st seemingly are the only contenders outside of the SEC top 4 that really does something. Oregon is a flash in the pants team, Texas loves to be mediocre.

Oregon doesn't play in the SEC

USC choked and couldn't face the SEC, which is on USC.

You must be confused, it's always higher ranking big 10 teams playing lower ranking SEC teams since 2 SEC teams make BCS games every year it takes a good team out of those bowl matchups.

For example MSU (2nd best big 10 team) had to face the 4th best SEC team in the outback bowl in georgia

3rd best team Nebraska had to face to 5th best team in South Carolina in the citris bowl.

LSU, Bama, and Arkansas all were in BCS bowls last year.

Funny the two teams you want to annoint as contenders, Texas has scoreboard on both, and have been to a National Championship game more recently than both of them.

It was only 2 years ago that Texas was in the MNC and could have won had Colt MCcoy not gotten injured.

and since then as completely changed their offensive style. they were one of youngest teams in the nation last year.

Texas is still the last Non-SEC team to win a NC.
