Typical how the interviewer tries to mis-direct things by focusing on Russell not voting.
It's besides the point and the interviewer acts like it's a "gotcha" question.

well known that democrats in Texas didn't vote much in gubernatorial elections during the Bush and Perry years. I'm working on Wendy da Gawdesses campaign, and its all about getting people to actually vote so we don't end up with another of these extreme slick headed Repubs in office. We have Obama's team working with us, and that's their big message and how they were able in to win in 2012. Apathy favors Repubs because their constituency turns out. But yeah, listen to Russell Brand.
