But that’s the thing.

She’s not making logo 3’s. She’s not even the best 3 point shooter in the wnba. So again, what’s the draw? She’s only “exciting” when her team has a lead. She only shows emotion, when her team is winning.

As for the assists, a lot of them are empty stats. If not for Aaliyah Boston, they would probably be in last place.

So again…. What’s the draw. It seems like you and everyone else still thinks this is college ball and she’s playing at Iowa. And you talking about assists, when her turnovers negates most of them. She has suspect handles and now she doesn’t even try to shoot as much as she used to because she can’t create her own shot.

And she doesn’t play defense.
Again, you are coming from a place of hate. She is consistently showing a skill that no one else possess. The combination of her shooting range and playmaking is unheard of in the WNBA. You sound like the bitter old guard WNBA players because she is getting shine for taking what Curry did with his skillset and applying it to herself.

The whole league was put on notice when she broke the scoring record in college and vowed that wouldn't happen in the W. So they are playing 24/7 D on her to deter any open looks.

:gucci:

She is seeing coverage no one else is getting in the league. When she gets open off of screens the ball isn't placed in her hands.

Her teammates blow the assist opportunities at the rim. Fumble passes. And she does have some overzealous passes, but that will be cleaned up. She had 2 turnovers in the previous game. Don't see you mentioning that.

These are simple observations from WATCHING THE GAME.

She's a draw because she's doing something with her skillset that no one else is. The numbers speak for itself. Shooting 40% from 30-34 feet from the field. For reference Curry in his 2020-2021 season was shooting 46% from there. In the 20s ever since. Lillard has only hit 40% from that range twice. She's in elite company.

:blessed:

Putting butts in seats is the name of the game. She's doing that better than anyone in the history of the game.

Clark's shooting for the season isn't all that bad when you consider the percentage of some of the other All-Star guards

Clark- 39.1/33.7
Loyd- 36.6/28.8
Anrike-36.7/36.0
Ionescu- 41.9/34.0
SDS- 39.8/28.1
Plum- 39.3/34.7

Not bad for a rookie...Not bad when you consider...

* Sides doesn't run plays to get Clark open looks
* Indy's bigs aren't the best screeners
* Players like Wheeler/Mitchell don't pass the ball to Clark when she is open
* Clark doesn't have the luxury of playing with a dominant/MVP caliber players like Aja/Gray/Young or Stewart/Jones

It's as Mitchell said in an interview.....She's never gotten so many clean looks playing with Clark....Teams are literally leaving her wide-open.....Words out of Mitchell's mouth

Also, Clark did have a migraine at the end of the Phoenix game....Migraines can last 2-3 days.

The draw is that she's a white woman that white people want to see. That already makes her marketable to black folks if nothing else. There are about 20-25 Caitlin clark channels on youtube(not named as such). Roughly 90% of them are white and the other 10% of negroes wanting white clicks. The same applies to boxing. There are more black boxing channels than white, but of these black channels, a few of them are "anti-black", meaning they will always demoralize the black fighters for a white/latino(and latino isn't a race) fanbase. It's all in the game.

For the record, I don't have a problem with CC. It's her craker/kooning fanbase that I despise. The sad thing is that Clark isn't supporting the bullshyt and riding with the katilin klark krazies. Once they can get them a MAGA player in the form of Colby Covington, that's slightly above average and putting up numbers that will go with their program, she's going to be 10x bigger than Clark. The only reason Covington isn't as big as Clark is due to him always losing the big fights

I’m still trying to figure out what is is people are actually paying to see?

Do people show up to games just to look at Clark? Do they go just to say they saw her in person?

Vegas has won back to back titles, yet they never had to move games to a bigger arena.

Clark is low energy and literally does nothing better than anyone else. There’s nothing special about her game. She’s not bigger, stronger or faster.

Is it the aw shucks I’m a small town white girl vibe that she portrays?

And it’s funny how at the beginning of the season fans were throwing Aaliyah Boston under the bus when they were trying to run that Iowa offense.

And the coaches commentators spent more time talking about attendance and revenue than actual basketball.
It’s white people’s constant search for the great white hope. It’s so bad now that they’re grasping at straws and focusing on women’s basketball. They hate to admit it, but the reason they ride for Caitlin so hard is because LSU beat Iowa and Angel did the hand wave.
