Nah, I don't like fake/phony ass people....Don't try to play peacemaker when you contributed to the problem.
Chiney is a phony....She was making fun of C. Clark for turning over the ball during one of the ESPN games, but now she's trying to act like an innocent bystander.
And on top that she seems like a terrible teammateMost of the WNBA analysts, players, coaches etc.. all know that Clark isn’t that nice. She shoots long threes and that’s it. She’s not some generational talent. She’s not a unicorn.
But they all have to project that because of the “attention” she’s brought to the WNBA.
If her name wasn’t Caitlin Clark, she would be coming off the bench. What most people don’t know about the WNBA, is teams and coaches don’t have time to develop players. You either get it or you don’t. That’s why if you look at a lot of player stats, you will see that they’ve played for multiple teams.

So the #1 pick.....who lead her team to multiple championship games, was the all-time leading scorer and was 1st or 2nd every season in pts/asst would be coming off the bench for Indiana?....Come on man your hate is just on another level
She's the only athlete to ever get talked about after a turnover?Chiney is a phony....She was making fun of C. Clark for turning over the ball during one of the ESPN games, but now she's trying to act like an innocent bystander.
Do you watch the games? They sub her out on defense in close games when they need a stop.
She's the only athlete to ever get talked about after a turnover?
I mean she might be right thoChiney was throwing shots while being an in-studio host.....She said Clark has broken a lot of records, now she's going to break the turnover record (Paraphrasing)...while giggling....Mind you, this was only the 2nd game of the season.
=
What does that have to do with anything?.....Clark is no worse of a defender than when Taurasi/Ionescu/Plum/Ogwumike,etc...came out of college......Why not give her a chance to develop/improve instead of writing her off?....She's a rookie, not a 4th or 5th year player
No, she's worse on defense than the players you named for sure. Not to mention she's turning the ball over at a league-leading rate.
She's an incredibly inefficient player right now since her offensive game only consists of layups and long threes. It's no coincidence the team looked better last night working the offense thru Boston and Mitchell.
And on top that she seems like a terrible teammate
Guess what she's on pace to doChiney was throwing shots while being an in-studio host.....She said Clark has broken a lot of records, now she's going to break the turnover record (Paraphrasing)...while giggling....Mind you, this was only the 2nd game of the season.
Chiney is correct in every word that she said, but unfortunately for the WNBA it’s falling into the same tropes that the NBA did in that outside conversations and discussion is starting to overshadow what’s taking place on the court. You can posters and people on social media literally watching the games just to gripe and bytch about it or not even watching it at all but letting their talk points clog up discussion.
The question for her and the WNBA is can they nip in the bud from the beginning before it becomes the norm like what's happening in the NBA even if the discourse means bringing in more money and attention on the league.
