Yup and to I think one of your earlier comments I don't see HTS or whatever comes after them keeping Russia in Syria. I don't see Erdogan wanting Russia to stay in Syria and Russia is directly responsible for a lot deaths in Syria. I also didn't realize or forgot but a lot of HTS fighters are from the Caucasus and former Soviet Union. I suspect they're not big fans of Russia and Putin somehow.

No one is coming to help them and the Russian air force can't stop what's coming and isn't going to wait around for their airbase to get shelled and overrun. Supposedly Russian ships already left the port...
