Jody Hill actually directing an episode of this iirc. Gunn only doing 5 or so of the 8 (he wrote them all though).

This show is very good

I've only watched Cena act in one other show/movie... and that was Suicide Squad, and i thought he was pretty good in that.

He's fukkin hilarious in this. The whole cast is.

I would watch it just to get introduced to a couple of folks on the main team plus its on HBO Max anyway
They are featured in the movie and this is pretty much a direct sequel to it
