Show is being revived and will be the first "original" show for IMDB tv.

Timothy Hutton WILL NOT be returning but all the rest of the main cast will However it's been said that Aldis Hodge will only have limited appearances due to his work on other current shows.

Noah Wylie will be a new character though it remains to be seem if he's taking over Timothy Hutton's spot as the crew's leader.

13 episodes was ordered.


I never finished the show but i do remember watching it every now and again. Gonna be strange to see this show back with no Nathan ford seeing as how Nathan/Sophie turned into a couple later in the series.

So then it's pretty much librarians 2.0. I get Hutton not coming back and hodge is on another show, but their presence will be missed like a motherfukker. Theyd be better off with a new cast with cameo appearances

No, you don't need to watch the original show, the show wasn't that deep anyway.

Yes, the interracial relationship is still going but I'm not convinced convinced after one episode, it's inconclusive

Aldis hodge gets credit for 13 episodes, we will see how many he is in

This might be a hot take but I always thought Nate Ford was the weak link in the original cast.

The new show misses Hardison when he leaves, but they did as good a job as possible replacing him with Breanna. No doubt in my mind she'll be a fan favorite.
