tbf the Dorne plot is a mess in the books too, if they had done a faithful adaption of the last 2 books it would have made for really boring tv. They had the right idea fastforwarding and cutting out a lot of that stuff, but they failed the execution.

Nobody is saying they should not go with this story. We are saying the groundwork for her suddenly killing the entire Kings landing of innocents, is NOT anything she ever was on. She was gonna fly in and burn up the castle. Not the whole goddamn city. She certainly wasn’t planning on burning up women and children on a whim like fukk it.

They should have had this working for 6 seasons like Arya training. They might as well had Sansa kill the wights in the crypt with ninja moves if we just saying fukk the groundwork

No D&D you have to show us the shyt and build it up. You had 4 extra episodes to do so at the minimum. Maximum 7 since you cut last season too. Won’t even count before that cause I’ll chalk that up to the books

I agree with you on this. The show has become results over process.. they don’t care about how things happen or why they happen as long as they happen. They never really explained why Dany couldn’t have just burned Cersei last season before she let people in the red keep. I guess we’re supposed to assume that by burning her castle she will also be burning the city.

I feel like HBO is basically EA (to break it down in video game terms)....yeah they fukk up a lot and most of the criticism leveled towards them is their fault....but occasionally they get blamed for things they had very little to do with (fukking up the "Mass Effect" franchise).

Or, for HBO, ending "Boardwalk Empire" and "Game Of Thrones". In both cases it's not HBO's fault, it's the show runners. People seem to forget Terrence Winter ended "Boardwalk Empire" to do "Vinyl" then abruptly bounced on that show, too.
