No blandishments or lengthy oratories this time around.

Simply put, this is a video game about simulation football (soccer, sawker, socca, soccer ball fitba, futbol (fukk off), footy).

There is a new iteration coming out on all platforms on September 25 in North America, September 28th in Europe and some other date in Australia.

This thread is to formulate leagues we'll never finish.

I got on FIFA and soccer in general this year, and it's already my favorite game. I play mainly sports games, and beside MLB The Show, ain't nothing touching it. But I hear a lot of FIFA heads complain about 12 and saying 10 was the best.

I don't know too much past the basics of soccer, so I really don't have anything to complain about. How good is this game in the realism department? Is it looking up for 13?

New additions:

Player Impact thing (which I thought was in last year's game)

Tactical free kicks (You would think this is something they would have put in like, years ago)

Attacking intelligence (Translation: your players make runs)

Skill games (from the pics I've seen you hit boxes and shyt)

They've also added the Saudi league...no comment on that

The last actual realistic FIFA was 08 imo (which coincidentally was the one that gained the FIFA franchise new fans and wide recognition. In true EA style after 08, they sacked/replaced the producer of 08 with David Rutter who transformed Fifa into a more arcade style game which has made it more accessible to millions a fan favorite and easily playable who has been the producer since 09).

Since then however realism has taken a back seat. Just look at the video I posted above. That first attack after kick off is laughable.

Never played fifa. Decided on a whim to download the PES 2013 demo. How do the two games compare/contrast? Which one is better?

I feel like its more of a personal prefrence. Europeans go with PES(they say the game play and dynamics are more "real") and North Americans go for FIFA. I honestly have yet to give PES a chance. I just downloaded the PES 2013 demo. I really want to know which on stands out.

PES is fluid but its bland and the community wont nearly be as big. i guarantee going online in that game is like a deadzone. FIFA >>>

this thread will die easy tho. the only nikkas that still even play fifa 12 are me, levraipapi, lukeasy, and akademik. everyone else quit playing when things dont go their way

I'm still on there, everyone stopped playing cos' you guys give yourselves masturbatory high fives over the fact you play manual and it was getting weird and sickening.

the game feels fresh every time i play when i play on manual. u should try and get used to it. a lot more gratifying and u dont play ppl that spam ping-pong passing than perfect lob ball overhead to a streaking striker

How can anyone forget how awful responsiveness was in FIFA 08. You run into another player, your player is frozen for 1 or 2 seconds.

They introduced the new game engine in '08, but FIFA 10 was untouchable. I feel the players are stiff in PES, they don't move as fluid, they move like the players in FIFA 07.
