I'm excited for announcements but the way they doing it this year kind of sucks. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Seeing the announcements after the grand finals was always dope. Well at least you ain't got to sit through them now.
Agreed and I think it'll hurt. Viewership over all this weekend, unless they're still announcements after events also
Granted maybe they are trying to get some sort of mini kinda announcement/event thing rolling for Fridays of Evo long term.

I'm so happy the offline EVO has returned. I haven't felt this excited for anything FGC related in awhile.
Some are expecting a SF6 beta announcement here. I think that's a bit much. Would be nice tho. I'll be fine with some nice reveals and more gameplay.
