SF6 is gonna be a dominant game but from what we've seen so far, it isn't that different from 5 visually. The mechanics that brought MK11 and Tekken 7 to the forefront were the displays of hype in fatal blows and slow motion respectively.
I don't care for their attempt at a 2K myplayer open world. Some will but when that game hits the stage it still will not have flair.
As much as people hate on Punk, he has a personality. LTG did say that Punk was being dumb for not having a brand and not marketing himself. Most of these FGC guys have zero personality.

everyone else is just w/e to me now. tbh i'm a fossil at this point. I went to CB first major in ages and I legit did not enjoy myself, whole scene is just so...the vibe is different mane. Which is ironic cuz the tourney was ran flawlessly but something is missing. the soul I guess.
I think that's what it is, you've been in the scene too long and haven't transitioned to a different role. You've seen it all so to see some of the new kids with their gimmicks you compare it to the old days.
The legacy players from MVC2, CVS2 all moved on or are in different roles now. SF4 was the end of the glory days. PG era is here to stay.

For about 3 or so years I was a top 8-16 level player in marvel, and was actually very good at xrd as well but have no out of state results to back that. My only role was and will ever be is player
all that extra rah rah shyt is unimpotant to me, back in the day I was never buddy buddy with the tops I wanted to beat them I'm just older now, a gronw ass man and the shenanigans of these little nikkas is off putting. I don't need to dikkride for a sponsor my sponsor is IRL lol. Its all about the games with me and the games now are dogshyt I've done commentary before and am actually good at it but its not something I would want to do with any regularity.
