ps: this thread is great. i like the macho man episode. i had no idea lex and elizabeth had a thing... i think this series is good but it will not cover up anything sinister. i feel like all of this knowledge is probably well known or is on Google. the interviews are great. i am glad they are able to incorporate other wrestlers in it. it almost feels like i am watching a 'shoot' but it really is not.
who knows how much information will be shared because i am pretty sure WWE has a PR team working on this.. they probably want to hide some facts and shyt.. what you think? i say this because of the phil donahue show during the 80s-90s.

Tony atlas is prolly my fav personality in wrestling from his shoots. He seems like a nice guy and the only one with any balls down there. What happened to him is a crime as he coulda been hogan status himself but vince did everything he couod to keep him away from other territories... more than anyone before or after him. Pay a man NOT to show at WM1 brehs...
I keep noticing dutch puts himself in all these brody things but tony clearly says NOONE wanted to help and everyone went on like everything was normal. Hes given the same story for years.

Tony Atlas had drug issues especially cocaine and was no showing events that's why he was let go before the boom
After Brodys Murder he got deeper into drugs and would end up homeless for awhile
This all stuff he's admitted in other interviews
You can't put the blame on Vince, they didn't pay to send guys to rehab back than
And like I said Dutch doesn't get a pass, he continued to do business down there for almost ten years after while Tony and others like Flai who wasn't even there boycotted Colon

The macho episode was good, but in more of a nostalgic way because I already knew that story backwards and forwards. I thought I was gonna hate the dramatic reenactments, but they were done well.
That Brody episode was
. I've heard the story before but it was always mixed reports. It's almost crystal clear that Butcher is a lying piece of shyt, Dutch is trying to play both sides of the fence, and Tony is shooting straight. Still 
@ Butcher saying he does karate and jujitsu 
I hope they do whatever they have to do to get picked up for a few more seasons with more episodes per season. The common stories that everyone knows (screw job, Benoit) will get the views, but the more unknown or mysterious stories will definitely be the ones that keep fans watching.

Idk. Vince hated tony atlas it seems to me. Too many problems over the years.
1. Tony has stated he was let go by vince while arriving late with snuka and greg valentine.. but vince had “to set an example” and fired only tony which tony says was because he was black. Saw a recent shoot (which i doubled on with another to verify) and tony said his drug addictions started fukking with him post brody death when he was blackballed and lost his money in a divorce. Said he was no different than any other of the boys in. 70s/80s.. except he was black and held to a higher standard. Tony dont even like to use the black card but hes adamant about this.
2. Tony starts working for awa and vince tells him he has an africa tour that verne will allow tony to do. Verne said ok but come back. Vince tells tony he talked to verne and tony is with wwe now. To y says he saw verne at hof and they talked how vince never told verne anything and verne telling tony he was gonna make him the champ but he dissapeared.
3. Or how he was let go the final time before saba simba run because he asked why the houses are getting bigger but their checks are the same as stated in piper’s book during a meeting vince had with the talent and tony was only one who said anything. Let go a week later. This is when tony says he really started fukking up.
4. Or how vince threatened to put mario savoldi out of business for using tony and did just that. Which lead to tony becoming homeless in north east.
5. Also tonys story of how hulk would purposely piss vince off by asking tony to ride in the limo with them cause hulk knew vince hated tony.
Wwe has long gone out of there way to shyt on tony. He didnt even get paid the same for his hof.. had to rent a tux and ride coach while other guys got 1st class flights and limos. Look how they tried to play em in legends house like he was the bad guy. Made him a joke with henry. His drug addiction couldnt have been that bad in his prime cuz he said he had like 17k worth of checks sitting at sd jobnes house that theyd laugh about not needing.
Sd was even threatened to be fired JUST for letting tony live at his house. Way too many examples here.
