I’m two weeks behind so just watched the Harley Race episode.

An interesting episode, but not particularly fitting for the concept of dark side.
Yeah he was an alcoholic who cared more about wrestling than his family. Pretty tame compared to most stuff on Dark Side…

I disagree.

Race lost his first wife & child in a car wreck, beat the hell out of his second wife, killed somebody in a boat crash, had his stomach explode on national TV.

All that is dark as fukk.

A lot of the wrestlers profiled this year prove that need to move away from the whole “Darkside of the Ring” name. Them possibly leaving ice and it being picked up on another streaming site would be perfect, even if they don’t leave and are granted another season simply change this shyt to “The Other Side of the Ring” and continue doing what they’re doing. The Race and Buff episodes had its “wild moments” but nothing compared to the first couple of seasons especially when a lot of people probably started watching this shyt because of all the publicity that it got regarding the Plane Ride From Hell episode, how do you tell a “Darker” story than that? Those episodes are gone now and even a good episode gets shyt on because why…it’s not “Darkside of the Ring” enough.

It's still a good show. Not every story has to be Chris Benoit. It's still very dark. People are just desensitized nowadays. There's no need at all to change the name of the show, or make it a different show.

The highest of highs to the lowest of lows. The lights and then the dark.

Sad is still dark.
