I believe Bischoff when he says he didn’t bite nWo from Japan. I don’t think he had any clue about whatever the fukk Japan was doing and thats just a narrative that dave made up and ran with.
That's the thing. EB used to be honest and say he got it from the UWF invasion when he was over there doing those NJPW/WCW supershows. He only started to deny that in the WWE retrospective era. That's why mfs call him on it. He said it himself.

Bischoff is one of the worst creative "minds" this business has ever seen. Yes, he turned Hogan heel. But that whole angle with the nWo was lifted from Japan. That became his claim to fame. So cool, let's give him credit for it even though he doesn't really deserve full credit. What the fukk else has he ever done?

His idea for Bash at the Beach 2000 was actually WORSE than Vince Russo's idea :mjlol:

I can't believe there was actually a worse idea floating around than what actually happened. Him and Hogan also killed TNA as a major promotion. They completely suck creatively.

Russo was also lying. I believe what happened is he intended on screwing Hogan over after Hogan exercised creative control but he doesn't want to 100% admit that he did because he wants to make sure he doesn't get sued.

I don't believe Bischoff saying him and Hogan were laughing on the plane either. Hogan looked legit pissed. He's not that good of an actor.

Definitely an overlooked point in the episode, and likely proof that Russo was on some bullshyt too.

So, after all is said and done, Jarrett loses twice in one night, the title technically changes hands three times in one night, and the new champion not only gets the title off of someone who literally had the title handed back to them after technically losing it, but ALSO just lost to a midcard comedy act earlier in the show.

So, in summation: the audience is confused, the title means even less than it did going into the show (trying to follow the title history in 2000 is absurd), and no one actually got over as a result of any of that bullshyt.

And somehow, that was probably still a better idea than having Hogan go away for three months, just to come back and completely invalidate the previous three months of programming, only to probably still go over and keep the title anyway. :dead:
