My comment was more on his character based on recent events of him scamming the Mississippi welfare program using his church as a front.
The JYD episode was great.

That's a hard-ass fall. By comparison, that would be like a strong mid-carder from the early-2010s working at Walmart right now. Imagine that was where Kofi or MVP are today.

Sad episode, he went and made lots of money, but I might even say that made his problems even worse for him- having all that made it even easier for him to dive deeper into the drugs, until he no longer had the money. I saw his whole decline happen as a fan. From seeing him on the cartoon in the mid-80s, to when he was sliding down the card in the WWF, to when he went to NWA/WCW and was clearly past his prime, to the failed comebacks in the early'90s... it was a fall-off for sure. It's sad but definitely a story to learn from.

watching JYD now…. Amazing episode
One of the few reasons I’d listen to Corny, his JYD stories are an amazing snap shot on wrestlers, race , drugs , the socioeconomic affects on New Orleans etc.

I tried watching one of the first episodes, and ejected because the host was a little too awkward, but not in a good way. Nathan Fielder he is not.
