EP & Royalty are my favorites of his other projects. Camp is the worst.I came late to this Childish Gambino party. I paid him no attention, based off his name alone.
Never heard anything from him until this record. But im glad I got this. Its dope. Any recommendations on past work?

matter of Opinion. and while I'd say that after the first four or five tracks the rest are lacking, in order to fully grasp Gambino and Donald's rapping persona, Camp is a necessary listenEP & Royalty are my favorites of his other projects. Camp is the worst.
I really like this album, but I think the screen play sucks. It's purposefully vague throughout with random ass scenes that only loosely tie together. There's no real message or plot, and it's not written particularly well. The only thing I really found redeemable is that the protagonist's personality and general indifference is a very good portrayal of (some) kids who grew up in this internet age.
If i had known how much I was going to enjoy this album, I would have pre-ordered this when I had the chance.
