BoxingScene.com has been advised that Roc Nation prospects Luis "Cuba" Arias (11-0) and Sonny Fredrickson (8-0) will return to action on June 20th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Fredrickson will open up the BET televised broadcast underneath the Andre Ward-Paul Smith main event.
Ward-Smith will serve as BET's inaugural boxing card. Roc Nation recently announced the cable network's foray into boxing and that they will broadcast up to nine more shows over the next 18 months as part of a time buy.
Fredrickson's bout is slated for six rounds while Arias is scheduled for 8. Both of their opponents are expected to be announce soon.
Both fighters are managed by boxing attorney Rick Torres of Victory Sports & Entertainment.
Arias made his Roc Nation debut in March when he defeated Zachariah Kelley via second round disqualification in Puerto Rico. This will be the unbeaten Fredrickson's third fight of the year.
